The Appia of Biancoslatania is a waterway that connects the oceans of the east to the warm Arawdielli Sea. The strait separates the continent of Selatan in the north from the continent of Bianco in the south, an aspect that contributed to the latter portion of its name.
In a stark contrast with the nearby Archangelsk Strait, the Appia of Biancoslatania is renown for its calm waters year-round; it is named the "Appia" after the Appian Way, one of the most well-preserved Roman roads in existence, for this reason.
